Faculty Position
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Florida has a non-tenure-earning, nine-month (teaching) Instructorship position available on our main (Tampa) campus starting August 7, 2012. The Mathematics and Statistics Department is seeking a Faculty Instructor dedicated to teaching excellence and committed to creating a student-centered learning environment. Instructional direction will be targeted to the following areas: Pre-calculus and Calculus. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics and at least five years’ experience teaching undergraduates at a college or university. The standard teaching load for Instructors is 12 credit hours per semester of undergraduate courses in mathematics.
