Visiting Assistant Professor — Statistics

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics seeks to fill a 9-month, part-time Visiting Assistant Professor position with possible renewals for up to a total of three years. Salary is $33,000.

Minimum qualifications include a Doctoral degree in Statistics, or closely-related field, from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor. Preferred qualification include three years of experience teaching at the College or University level.

Applicants must demonstrate evidence of, or potential for, excellence both in research and teaching. The candidate hired to this position will be expected to teach effectively at both upper-level undergraduate and graduate levels, and to maintain a strong research program.
