Postdoctoral Research Fellow
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Florida invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in Mathematics/Statistics beginning December 21, 2016. The salary is $20,000 for the Spring 2017 semester, supported by a U.S. Army Research Office grant. This position may be renewed for the 2017-18 academic year depending on satisfactory performance. Preference will be given to candidates who have received their Ph.D. in the Mathematical Sciences within the last three years or will be completing their Ph.D. by the end of Fall 2016. Candidate must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment, outstanding research record/potential, a desire to work in a stimulating research environment, and a serious interest in the basic research.
