Students who need advising and/or a permit for a math or statistics course should review the information at the link Advising & Permits prior to contacting the department.

The USF Math Center website contains course information for students taking MAC 1105 (College Algebra) or MGF 1106 (Finite Mathematics). It also has information on the CLAST exam and the preparatory courses MAT 1033 (Intermediate Algebra) and MAT 0024 (Beginning Algebra).

The department and the university offer the following services for students who need assistance with their mathematics and statistics courses:

USF Learning Commons: The Math Lab houses 24 computers and a library of materials designed to improve math skills.
