Appointments can be made up to two weeks in advance.
Schedule an Advising Appointment
Select the appropriate button below based on your current student status:
\(^*\)Phone appointments are not recommended and are only available in emergency situations that hinder a student from coming to campus. In-person appointments are more effective, so we recommend that you come to campus if it is possible. If you need a phone appointment please schedule it using the buttons above, but indicate in the comments box that you need to discuss your academics via phone. If you schedule a phone appointment, it should be when you have quiet time and you can speak near a computer. You should call from a landline or area with reliable service as your appointment is ineffective if we cannot hear you or vice versa. You will be required to fax a copy of your unofficial transcripts (including current courses) to 813-974-2876 at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment, or you can email your unofficial transcript to your advisor directly. Also, you must call the front desk at 813-974-3250 at the time of your appointment, and you will be transferred to your advisor.
MathAdvise appointments are for current or incoming:
- Statistics majors
- Mathematics majors
MathAdvise also offers advising appointments for prospective students, but we respectfully request that non-USF students do not make an appointment between the following dates:
- Jan. 1 to Jan. 15
- March 1 to May 15
- Aug. 1 to Sept. 5
- Oct. 1 to Dec. 1
Appointment Cancellation Policy
If you cannot make your appointment, you are expected to cancel or reschedule in advance of your scheduled advising appointment time slot. You can cancel your appointment online through our eScheduler system. To cancel using eScheduler: Log in with your NetID and your scheduled appointment should then appear; you can then select to cancel. Once cancelled, you can also reschedule for any other available appointments. If you have trouble completing the cancellation online, please call 813-974-3250 to cancel your appointment. If you fail to cancel your appointment and instead do not attend, you will be automatically blocked from rescheduling another appointment online until you e-mail TBA with your name, U#, and the explanation for missing your appointment.
